The Power of Pyrite

There's something peculiar about the mineral pyrite.

Inside, you'll learn about the special relationship between pyrite and an abundant class of organics called "quinones." In the presence of these organics, pyrite sustains an electric current that outshines many ferric minerals and even glass carbon.
