Lynn Lab Watches Some Fireflies (thousands of them)

Every June, the Smoky Mountains serve as the mating grounds for fireflies, where thousands of them light up in-synch to produce a brilliant display of luciferase activity.

Self-assembly has never glowed so brightly.
