Allisandra defended today! Her presentation, titled "Mutualism in nucleic acid/peptide domain arrays: implications for RNA processing and disease," was held in the Whitehead building since she's a joint student in Chemistry and GDBBS,
There was a reception aftewards, and her family was even able to make it! She was always a positive force in the lab--and her dogs, Milo and Lucy, are the cutest!
With this bridge crossed, Allisandra will now pursue a post doc. But first, she plans on finishing up a paper and a little self-assembly side project called Nashua Rha, who we're expecting in the Summer to come!
We're sad to see her go but enthralled to see what happens next! Good luck, Allisandra!
